Scrip gift cards are the same gift cards you would normally purchase from a retailer in your local retail stores, and they work the same way. With over 500 of the country's biggest brands, Great Lakes Scrip Center has something to appeal to every family in the Annunciation community.
At Annunciation Catholic Academy, Scrip is used as a tuition assistance tool. The profit from each family's Scrip purchases goes directly to that family's following year tuition account. Individuals and families may also choose to have their profits donated to families receiving scholarship assistance.
Through Scrip you will find cards you can use at grocery stores, gas stations, restaurants, movie theaters, home improvement stores, and almost any business that accepts gift cards. Virtually anywhere you shop will accept some form of Scrip.
How does it work? ACA purchases gift cards from merchants at a discount. The discount ranges from 2%-20%, depending on the merchant. We then sell the certificates, at face value, to you. The difference between the discounted price and the face value, after the administration fee has been deducted, is the amount that is credited to your tuition account. Use Scrip for weekly grocery shopping, birthdays, gifts, Christmas and you will watch your account grow!
