Golf Tournament
The Fr. Charlie Annunciation Catholic Academy Scholarship Fundraiser is an annual event that takes place at a local golf club. Proceeds from all the day's events benefit the Annunciation Catholic Academy Scholarship Fund to help provide financial assistance to students in need. The fundraiser includes a golf tournament, putting contests, helicopter ball drop, blackjack tournament, dinner, and auction. Each entry fee includes admission to the $1,000 Sundown Shootout pool, a continental breakfast, lunch, standard putting contest, 18 holes of golf, greens fees, cart fees, range balls, and two tickets to the dinner and auction. There are numerous prizes in both the morning and afternoon shotguns including three hole-in-one automobiles, first place trophies for each flight, closest to the pin, long drive and a putting contest. Prizes for the putting contests include up to $5,000. The Helicopter Ball Drop offers some of the best odds you'll ever see - 1 in 2000 odds to win $10,000. The more balls you buy the better your odds. Even if you cannot play golf you can purchase tickets for the Helicopter Ball Drop. There is a dinner and auction (silent and live) starting with a cocktail hour at 6:00 p.m.
