Danny's Story…
The annual Danny Rosario Memorial Basketball Challenge benefits a scholarship fund at Annunciation Catholic Academy. Danny was the only child of ACA's founding principal, Dr. Margaret E. Curran. He was a bright young man with a warm, friendly personality and a promising future. Tragically, he lost his life in an automobile collision on March 30, 2001. Each year since his death, a lively basketball challenge has been played between local WESH TV employees and coaches and dads from the Academy. Game proceeds provide financial assistance to learning disabled students at the Academy.
