Hot Lunch Program
Annunciation Catholic Academy offers a daily nutritious hot lunch program. Along with daily lunch options, sandwiches that include any of the following items, sliced ham, turkey, cheese and peanut butter and jelly are available to order online. Students may also choose healthy selections from our salad bar:
- Diced ham, turkey, chicken breast, or meat salads
- Fruit, canned and or fresh
- Potato, pasta, or vegetable salads
- Hummus, low-fat cottage cheese, whole eggs, baby carrots, pickles, and many more items
- Low-fat dressings
Students in grades five through eight are served larger portions. The price for these larger portions is slightly higher.

A la carte items are available on a rotating basis. The selection includes items such as granola bars, yogurt, trail mix, apple slices and whole grain muffins. Prices for these items will range from $.50 to $1. Soup is available during cooler months. These items do not need to be ordered in advance and will be sold on a cash basis. Children who bring lunch from home may also purchase these items.
Lunch orders are placed online and are accepted if placed least two days in advance. Within the 48 hour time frame, a premium price of $5 will be charged for the emergency meal. The $5 charge will also apply to all forgotten lunches. Parents wishing to leave a lunch in the office to avoid paying the premium price will be allowed to do so, but it remains the child's responsibility to come to the office and get it. We will not interrupt a class's instruction to deliver a forgotten lunch.
For the convenience of families who like to plan in advance, we are offering the option of purchasing hot lunch for each day of the entire month with a discount of 5%. To receive the discount, the order must be placed no later than the first of the month, and a hot lunch must be purchased for each school day. After the first of the month, the option will not be available. Substitutions cannot be made with the order, but Mrs. Day would be happy to offer a sandwich instead of the hot entrée if a child requests it as he/she goes through the line. If you wish to order for the entire semester, you may do so and receive a discount of 7%, but the menu may not be visible for the entire semester. We will continue to post two or three months in advance.
Lunch orders are placed through Hot Lunch Online. Orders for multiple children in one family may be placed at the same time. Paypal or credit card payments are accepted.
