Alex
By Alex B.

Last night the scariest thing happened.  As I was getting into bed, I heard a thumping noise in my closet.  I nervously peeked over my covers to see what was there.  I tip toed out of my bed to the closet.  I opened it to reveal a brown yet bumpy sweet substance.

It smelled sweet, but when I felt it, it felt kind of rough and kind of soft.  When I bit into it, it tasted sweet like chocolate.  The color of it was brown.  It was half of my Mazing bar from today.

In My Closet
By Mark V.

Last night the scariest thing happened. As I was getting into bed, I heard a noise in my closet. I nervously peeked over my covers to see what was there. I tiptoed out of bed to the closet. I opened the door to reveal a green, smelly, hideous, fuzzy, weird blob. It started to move. It made a big “SQUASH” sound when he walked. He touched me! I started to scream! He felt slimy and wet.

I screamed, “HELP!” Nobody answered. Then he said,” BLAH, BLAH, BLAH.” He started chasing me around the room. “HELP,” I said again. I could see his big, red, beady eyes. Then, his arm started turning into a shiny, silver metal. Then, his leg turned into a metal one. It was a metal monster!
