NJHS covered books at the beginning of the school year as a fundraiser. A portion of the proceeds went to St. Jude's Children's Hospital. They also spoke with the 7th and 8th grade classes regarding the criteria for application. Throughout the year they have been tutoring peers during recess. New officers will be elected before the end of the year and members will help out with Grandparents Day. The spring service project is collecting canned and dry goods for the Christian Sharing Center and Hope Community Center.
